Undertakes document design and systems engineering of complete audio-visual systems, including all project stages such as site survey, pre-sale, implementation, handover, and AMC support.

Job Duties

Articulately conveys (verbally, visually, and graphically) digital design concepts to clients as well as internal company professionals with varying levels of understanding.
Participates in meetings with the client, conducts site surveys, takes necessary measures, and takes photos and videos from the facility for all the important aspects of a solution design.
Creates and engineers design drawings, as-built drawings, material submittals (equipment documentation), and method statements for clients.
Understands and interprets needs and requirements for CAD drafting, BIM model creation, and timelines for development and completion.
Undertakes responsibilities for the development of discipline-specific engineering calculations, carries out modeling duties, coordinates with modeling teams, and ensures full integration of modeling information with other disciplines.
Undertakes self-checking initiatives while maintaining quality control of junior engineers and/or subcontractors work and ensuring adherence to all relevant design criteria and standards.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending relevant workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
Establishes and maintains credible, professional relationships with internal business lines and external vendors.
Maintains product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Science or Engineering with three-five years of CAD Drafting or BIM Modeling in medium- to large-scale Audio-Visual Systems Integration Projects.
A proven practical background in design visualization applications like Autodesk AutoCAD, Revit, Autodesk 360 (cloud rendering), 3D Studio Max, and Navisworks is mandatory.
Candidates with working experience and familiarity with vendors like Crestron, Extron, Atlona, Televic, Bosch, Bose, Avaya, Polycom, Cisco, Epson, and Panasonic are preferred.
Candidates with an understanding of the MEP and ELV systems are preferred.
Candidates with a UAE driving license are preferred.
