Polymedia wins the InAVation award for the project at INHA university in Tashkent
The annual InAVation awards took place in Amsterdam on February 5th celebrating the best projects, most innovative technologies and other top achievements in AV industry. Polymedia won the award for the project in the category "Education Facility".
The winning audiovisual solution for INHA University in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, provides modern multimedia tools for students and faculty augmenting the educational process and unlocking new capabilities, such as distance learning options. The solution is a network of integrated systems installed in 16 functional spaces, connected, managed and monitored via Extron GVE platform.
The platform includes core analytics and enables both local control of equipment in each of the 16 zones, as well as the centralized monitoring of all the installed AV systems, improving the efficiency of operations, technical support and maintenance.
The large multifunctional conference hall-transformer, one of the most significant innovations in the project, features stitching from three installation projectors displayed on a 24,000 x 5000 mm screen, an interactive lectern, audio and video conferencing options, transformable seating area and a zone for operators and interpreters. It facilitates holding various events, from business to entertainment. The classrooms, lecture hall and entrance area are also equipped with modern display and interactive systems, sound and lighting equipment.
Polymedia projects have been selected as finalists in two categories of the most prestigious international award — Inavation Awards: Government and Public sector and Education. The winners will be announced and celebrated on February 4, 2025, in Barcelona.
