Johnson & Johnson, the Vision Care Institute
A multifunctional hall transformer with a mobile room divider was equipped with a videowall consisting of six narrow-bezel 55" LCD displays controlled by Polywall software. The hall also includes an additional 84" LCD display, interactive screens installed in mobile racks and an interactive DIS voting and congress system.
"We position ourselves as an innovative learning center, unique and the only one of its kind, and because of that we, of course, use hi-tech audiovisual and modern medical equipment for auditoriums and rooms. Сlients and attendees from various regions of Russia and CIS visit us, and we have to cultivate their interest in getting education in our institute. As a result of the project implemented by Polymedia, we have received a multifunctional and mobile hall-transformer with the capability to combine spaces, to visualize information separately on a videowall and a display, or on both of them at the same time. An especially important feature for us is a live video feed from remote cameras in patient rooms, where the educational work with patients is conducted, and from the ophthalmology center, as well as the capability to display the face of a speaker on a screen upon activation of their microphone. Apart from that, the system includes polling and questionnaire systems, which additionally engage attendees in the educational process – all this without doubt makes the educational process more interesting and more interactive.
